What is Baton Twirling

Baton Twirling is an international sport with over 20 countries participating around the world.  Boys, Girls, Young & Old.

The sport involves twirling, throwing and catching a baton, whilst incorporating dance steps into a routine, blending the body with the Baton.

Athletes can compete as an individual as well as part of a group, at all levels.

Baton Twirling helps develop confidence, rhythm & physical fitness.  The skills learnt improve hand eye co-ordination & ambidexterity.  It builds up self esteem, plus offers recreational fun, the opportunity to be part of a team or the chance to shine as a soloist.

Our club members perform at many community events and parades as well as compete at local, state, National and some have even competed at an International level, representing their country around the world.

We offer 2 FREE trial lessons for anyone interested in trying out the sport.
